Plants vs Zombies 2 MOD APK 13.5.1 is the current build of EA's tower-defence classic with three resources taken off the leash: coins, gems and in-level sun never run out. You still pick a seed line-up, read each wave and time your Plant Food — but the store stops asking for gems, power-ups stop costing coins, and a level no longer opens with the slow sun-farming crawl. It is one 940 MB APK with no OBB file, runs on Android 7.0 or newer, needs no root, and the adventure worlds play offline.

What the unlimited coins, gems and sun MOD actually changes

• Unlimited coins — power-ups, extra Plant Food and anything else the game sells for coins are free to use.
• Unlimited gems — premium plants, costumes and bundles priced in gems can be bought from the store straight away.
• Unlimited sun — inside a level, the sun counter is no longer a limit, so your strongest plants can go down from the first wave.
• Everything else is the stock game — the same 11 worlds, 300+ levels, Dr. Zomboss fights, Seed Packets and Plant Food mechanics as the Play Store release.

What it does not do, so you know before the 940 MB download: the source build is labelled "Unlimited Coins/Gems/Suns" and nothing more. Mints and the Penny's Pursuit gauntlets are not part of it. There is no "all plants unlocked" switch — gem-priced premium plants become affordable because gems are unlimited, but plants that are real-money only or earned through events still have to be earned. There is no max-level cheat either: plants still level up with Seed Packets exactly as they do in the original. Pages that promise "unlimited everything, all unlocked, max level 200" for this version are describing something this file does not contain.

What is in Plants vs Zombies 2 13.5.1

According to the official notes for 13.5.1 (Google Play, 5 October 2026), this update introduces the Lawn Legends event (Season 1 from 20 October to 8 November), gives the new plant Baneberry an early-access window from 19 October to 1 November, runs the Cactalog and Baneberry Arena seasons through November, and schedules the Big Top Extravaganza and Lawn of Doom Thymed Events. Every one of those is a live, time-limited online mode, which matters for a MOD build — see the next section. The MOD follows the official version numbers; when EA ships the next update we check the source daily and publish the matching build after a review, so expect a short gap after each release — the version on this page is always the one behind the download button.

Offline, no OBB, single APK — the requirements

• Android 7.0 (Nougat) or newer, phones and tablets
• One 940 MB APK — no separate OBB or data folder to copy; keep about 2 GB free for the install
• No root
• The adventure worlds, mini-games and endless zones play offline; Arena, Penny's Pursuit, Thymed Events and Piñata Parties need a connection and an EA account, which is where a modified client gets flagged
• A different signature from the Play Store app, so it will not install over the store copy

Who this build is for

Players who want the offline adventure without the gem store and without farming sun at the start of every level. If Arena rankings, Penny's Pursuit rewards or your EA account progress matter to you, stay on the Play Store version — modified clients are not welcome in EA's online modes, and progress does not transfer between the two builds. Note that unlimited sun removes most of the early-level tension by design; if you want the game as balanced, this is not the build.
