You still get the whole city with no police, traffic you can switch on or off, the checkpoint mini-game and the chapter-based Career Mode, but the cars, upgrades, paints, wheels and decals that the stock game sells for gold can be bought at once instead of after hundreds of missions or a $99.99 pack.

What the unlimited money MOD actually changes

• Unlimited money (gold) — the currency most of the garage is priced in: cars from about 6,000 to well over 10,000 gold, engine and handling upgrades, solid, metallic and matte paints, wheels and decals. In MODs of this type the balance climbs when you spend rather than falling; if yours looks normal on the first launch, buy one paint and check again.
• Nothing else is touched — the same 7.19.3 game as the store release, the same physics, damage model and the new Nitro.

What it does not do, so you know before the 155 MB download: the source labels this build "Unlimited Money" and nothing more. Beyond free roam there is the checkpoint mini-game, a traffic mode and the Career Mode in chapters — time trials and races against bots that hand out exclusive cars. The garage covers sports cars, off-roaders and classics with paint, wheel, decal and neon options. On Google Play the stock game is rated Everyone, averages 4.3 stars from more than 4.8 million reviews and sells gold and diamond packs from $0.99 to $99.99.
